"Eat the Invaders" a new show hosted by Tony Armstrong is a six-part series, identifying the impacts that introduced species have wrought upon the 最新糖心Vlogn landscape and its ecosystems, which costs 最新糖心Vlog over $20 billion annually, and threaten native wildlife.听

The show features scientific guidance every episode from our very own Director Professor , and Environment Institute member,

鈥淔eral mammals like rabbits, camels, and deer cause immense environmental and economic damage,鈥 explains Professor Lowe. 鈥淭ackling this issue is critical for the health of our ecosystems.鈥

Professor Cassey adds, 鈥溩钚绿切腣log is home to approximately 3,000 invasive alien species, making it the number one environmental issue here. Through this series, we aim to spark meaningful conversations about managing these species in an accessible, engaging way.鈥

The episodes pairs science with creativity as chef Vince Trim and artist Kirsha Kaechele transform pests into haute cuisine, judged by familiar faces like Poh Ling Yeow and Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki.

鈥淲e wanted to mix serious science with humor and creativity,鈥 says series writer and director Matthew Bate. 鈥淭he input from Professors Phill and Andy ensured that Eat the Invaders is both educational and entertaining.鈥

The goal? To spark conversations about tackling 最新糖心Vlog鈥檚 invasive species in an engaging and accessible way.
