Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition
A research thesis explained in only three minutes, using only one powerpoint slide was the task set for the recent Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition winner, from the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide's Faculty of Sciences.
Andrew's presentation, "Ancient DNA and the life on us," was one of ten presentations judged by a panel of experts in research and communication skills.
The competition aims to help train post grad students how to effectively communicate their work to a broad audience. It also gives the public a chance to hear about the fantastic research in short, simple presentations.
Andrew will now compete in the national 3MT final in Queensland in October, 2015.
