Assessment task Description Word count Online discussion and learning activities Students will be required to participate in weekly online discussions and structured learning activities on MyUni (responding to questions about the prescribed readings along with pop quizzes, object reports, and formative tasks to help complete assignments). 1,500 words Visual analysis Students will be required to select and write a comparative visual analysis of two works of art (in negotiation with the course coordinator/tutor) relevant to the course. 1,500 words Research essay Students will be required to write a research essay (with synopsis and thesis statement) on a negotiated question that extends a topic covered in the course. 3,500 words Submission
