2. Exhibit professional competency in 2D and 3D visual compositions.
3. Apply developed graphic design skills to communicate visually abstract concepts and design ideas.

5. Present developed skills in 2D compositions: large/small posters, magazine articles, illustrated reports, PowerPoint presentation, and web design.

Speaker Series:
The School has lecture series where respected practitioners and academics from the field deliver a public lecture on contemporary architectural practice. In order to expand your knowledge of contemporary directions in design it is recommended that you attend these sessions. The sessions are scheduled for Tuesday 6pm at the Horace Lamb Lecture Theatre, and the exact detail of dates and speakers is available from the School website and the Front Office.

Learning & Teaching Activities
Learning & Teaching Modes
Learning and teaching modes of Rep. II involve strategies that revolve around the problematized crossings between intellectual, literary, and visual forms of representation. This approach poses some difficult questions for the students, such as, how to make sense of the historical, theoretical, scientific, and literary information in their immediate design and representation tasks? How to manage the long- and short-term goals of the course for maximum intellectual and practical benefits? And how to motivate oneself beyond the expediency of meeting the teachers’ expectations? There are no direct answers to these open questions; they are meant to prompt the students to explore and discover, to take ownership of the inquiry process, and to find appropriate answers that suit their individual pursuit of learning. Rep. II modes of delivery are based on lectures and workshops, which will be augmented by technology-enhanced learning activities through which students participate in the responsibility of setting and managing expectations.
Lectures
Students are required to attend all the lectures as these will provide, first, the theoretical information necessary for the satisfactory completion of the assignments, and, second, the expectations and standard of work to be met by the students.
Workshops
Students are expected to attend all the workshops, which are devoted to the review and development of their individule and group work. Reviews will be mostly one-to-one or in small groups. On-screen crit is the main form of review and feedback, and students are expected to have their work-in-progress ready in digital format.Workload
The information below is provided as a guide to assist students in engaging appropriately with the course requirements.
This is a 3 unit course. Students in this course are expected to attend 3 hours of lecture/tutorial each week and allow for 9 hours of self-directed learning each week. That is a total of 12 hours a week for 12 weeks. The tutorials and other activities, including reviews of work in progress are an important component of learning in this course. The communication skills developed by regularly and actively participating in activities and discussions are considered extremely important by the School and are highly regarded by employers and professional bodies.

Specific Course Requirements
Attendance and participation
Students are required to attend all lectures and workshops, and attendance record will be taken in the lectures and workshops. 10% of the total mark will be allocated for attendance and participation. Attendance will affect the 10% bonus mark allocated for digital exhibitions.Small Group Discovery Experience
Review of and feedback on student work will be conducted either in one-to-one or in small group exchange. Students are expected to have their work ready for review at each workshop in order to maximise the benifit of this learning opportunity. -
