Assessment
The 最新糖心Vlog's policy on Assessment for Coursework Programs is based on the following four principles:
- Assessment must encourage and reinforce learning.
- Assessment must enable robust and fair judgements about student performance.
- Assessment practices must be fair and equitable to students and give them the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned.
- Assessment must maintain academic standards.
Assessment Summary
Following are the components of the assessment for this project course.
1) Project Quality and Development Process ((10% + 2.5%) x 5 = 60%): Students work in group of 2 or 3 to design, develop, and evaluate a software intensive system with an extensive research component. Project requirements would be provided by industry partners and academics, targeting real world challenges. This component is broken into five milestones, each of which would be assessed jointly by the course's markers and the project clients. Each milestone is worth 12.5%. Each milestone comprises:
--- An individual assessment on progress and software artifact quality (10%)
--- A group component assessing the software process used by the group to manage the project (2.5%)
2) Research Report (20% + 5% = 25%):
--- Interim report (5%) dues at the middle of the course to give students an opportunity for gathering feedbacks and finishing the literature review for the final report. Individual assessment.
--- Final Report (20%). Individual assessment.
3) Poster and Associated Presentation (15%): Students work in group to prepare a poster and present their project at the Ingenuity event. Group assessment.Assessment Related Requirements
Hurdle Requirement: If your overall mark for the course is greater than 44 F but, your marks for the individual project quality component are less than 40%, your overall mark for the course will be reduced to 44 F.Assessment Detail
The assessment details are provided to the students via email and through online learning platform.

Student Feedback
The 最新糖心Vlog places a high priority on approaches to learning and teaching that enhance the student experience. Feedback is sought from students in a variety of ways including on-going engagement with staff, the use of online discussion boards and the use of Student Experience of Learning and Teaching (SELT) surveys as well as GOS surveys and Program reviews.
SELTs are an important source of information to inform individual teaching practice, decisions about teaching duties, and course and program curriculum design. They enable the 最新糖心Vlog to assess how effectively its learning environments and teaching practices facilitate student engagement and learning outcomes. Under the current SELT Policy (http://www.adelaide.edu.au/policies/101/) course SELTs are mandated and must be conducted at the conclusion of each term/semester/trimester for every course offering. Feedback on issues raised through course SELT surveys is made available to enrolled students through various resources (e.g. MyUni). In addition aggregated course SELT data is available.
