The Art History & Curatorship Alumni Network (AHCAN) is excited to support a graduate of the Art History & Curatorship and Museum Studies programs, 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide, to submit an application for the AHCAN Project Development & Research Grant.

What is the grant?聽

How much? $2,500 (plus GST if applicable)

The AHCAN Grant provides financial support to a graduate in undertaking self-directed research or a curatorial project. The grant is intended to provide unique professional development through supporting research, curatorial practice, and to encourage connections with alumni.

What can the grant be used for?聽

AHCAN welcomes all projects that demonstrate learning and professional development. Projects may include but are not limited to: self-directed research project; curatorial projects (exhibitions, public program); an essay, article or research paper; mentorship; internship; or research-led travel.聽

We encourage applicants to consider the outcomes when outlining their project. The successful applicant will present a report outlining details of their project following its conclusion (in person or via video).

Who is eligible to apply?

A practicing museum/gallery professional who has graduated from the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide Art History/Curatorial program no more than 15 years before the application deadline.

Current students and committee members of AHCAN are NOT eligible to apply.

Applicants must complete and submit an聽addressing the following questions and provide an updated CV (max 2 pages) and references (max 3 references):

  • How do you plan to utilise the grant funds provided?
  • What are the outcomes of your project?
  • How do you believe this opportunity would benefit your career development?聽

Please submit your application (using the form provided) with your full name in the subject line to belinda.macqueen@adelaide.edu.au by 11.59pm Sunday 30 June 2024. Applicants will be advised of the outcome in early August with funds to be received in September/October 2024.
