Spreading the word on science
The Faculty of Sciences has established a new postgraduate course to better communicate science to the general public and attract more students to this field. Communicating Science will be taught for the first time as an intensive Winter School course and can also be taken as part of a coursework Masters of Science degree or a non-award course. Topics covered will include traditional methods of science communication, such as oral presentations and media releases, but also online and digital media, including blogging and tweeting.
