Young scribes earn 最新糖心Vlog prize
Five Salisbury High School students have excelled in a writing competition run by the 最新糖心Vlog of Adelaide to inspire a new generation of literary talent. The 2011 Write Now competition, run in conjunction with the Salisbury Writers' Festival, asked students in years 8-12 who live, study, work or volunteer in the City of Salisbury to write about what life is like in their suburb. The winners were: Justin Brown (senior爊on‑fiction); Samantha Pinnington (senior fiction); Krystal Humm and Brooke Lloyd (joint junior fiction winners); and Tamika燢ehl (junior non-fiction). They were each awarded $250 and the chance to have their work assessed by the editor of The Adelaide Review, Amanda Pepe.
